We had an amazing stay at Muncaster Cottages. The house itself was stunning and provided great value for money. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group. Despite a few minor hiccups, we would definitely consider staying here again.
While there were a couple of drawbacks, such as poor phone signal and internet connection, and a lack of essential cleaning tools, these issues did not overshadow our overall positive experience.

The location of the cottages is perfect, with easy access to surrounding facilities. You can enjoy beautiful scenery in the front garden and even find a path up the hillside for spectacular views. the beds are large and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the cottages are spacious, providing ample room for large family gatherings.
Some of the kitchenware wasn't cleaned very well, which was a minor inconvenience.

We recently stayed at Muncaster Cottages for a weekend getaway. The lovely big rooms were beautifully decorated with stunning views. It was a wonderful touch to have the heating on when we arrived. The fireplace added a cozy atmosphere, although a little firewood to start us off would have been great. The cottage was cute and comfortable, with a nice decor and a comfy bed and sofa. Being dog-friendly was a huge bonus. We enjoyed the good oven and the refreshing shower. The outdoor area was gated, and we could also sit on the grassy bank by the sea. Having a handmade ice cream business right behind the cottage was an added treat. All in all, a perfect stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at the cottage were spacious and the beds were really comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. the location was also a big plus, with lots of garden area to relax in. Parking was easy and convenient, which was a relief after a long day of traveling.
The lack of basic amenities in the cottage. There was no information folder, teatowels, dishcloths, or basic kitchen necessities like washing up liquid, salt, and pepper.

We stayed at Muncaster Cottages for a week and it was absolutely stunning. The view and outdoor space were beautiful. The beds were incredibly large and comfortable. The property is huge and offers amazing value for the price. There were plenty of toilets and showers, all with great water pressure. The cottage we stayed in, Knott View, was a gem. It had four floors with spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The garden was large and perfect for kids to play in. an excellent stay!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Loved the stunning views of the sea and hills from the comfortable and clean bedrooms. the immense size of the bedrooms and bathrooms made our stay with a large group very comfortable. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens. the lounge provided ample space for our group to gather and spend quality time together.
It would have been helpful to have locks on the bathrooms and en suites, and a wardrobe in the main bedroom. the wifi was hit or miss, which was a bit inconvenient.

The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and beautiful surroundings. The views from the house were simply breathtaking. We were a large family group, and there was plenty of room for all of us, with comfortable beds and provided bed linen and towels. The house was equipped with complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms, which was a nice touch. Despite the lack of wifi or phone signal, we were never bored as we brought along games to keep us entertained. The location was also ideal, with Muncaster Castle just a short distance away. our stay was wonderful and we would definitely return to Muncaster Cottages in the future.
